if TAMU lost to better teams, then why should they be punished? TAMU is a funny little outlier that makes the conversation interesting
there isn't a lot of shame in losing to OU, OSU, Texas, KSU, and Arky this year (they do have 1 bad loss elsewhere)

Texas A&M vs Mizzou under Sherman 0-3, getting blown out in two of those losses. A&M vs Mizzou under Sumlin, win by 30.
They are a different team now than they were in the Big-12. Bottom line.

They really were in every game they played against good competition pretty much. They were just the most unclutch team in college football.
Huge upgrades with coaching and a Heisman QB and voila, you have a good team.

If they did, he wouldnt have been a 3 star recruit coming out of high school and Auburn would have slid $200k to his dad

SEC fans routinely say what would Team X's record be in the SEC. Well, now we have a good idea. I guarantee you if A&M was 12-0 with JFF in the Big 12 SEC fans would be saying they'd be 3 loss team in the SEC and would have no shot vs Bama.

Still finished 3rd in West....but it IS amazing what a good coach and great QB can bring to a decent team.
Not to mention some NFL bookend tackles
