The Lakers were my favorite team as a kid during Magic era, then again during Shaq era, but I turned into a hater after the Shaq/Kobe split.
Same here, actually I'm old enough where I first made them my favorite team in the Wilt, Jerry West, Gail Goodrich days, 1973. And they were my favorite also until the Shaq/Kobe split and now I hate them like I hate the Cowboys.

To clarify, it wasn’t that I ever bought a Cavs jersey or boasted about Lebron. More of where my team was eliminated so I pick a team to root for in the Finals.
Or like this year where I pulled hard for Spurs over OKC but then only slightly for Spurs over Knicks.
When Magic retired, Barkley was already my favorite player so I naturally became a fan of his teams. Same with Shaq later since he was really cool to us kids at LSU b-ball camp and there was no NBA team in Louisiana at time.

You are 10000% right about the Mickey Mouse ring.

He's a bit different because he basically got sold for his first trade out if Edmonton and probably lost out on 2-3 more cups ( they won one without him). Once that happens you lose the one team thing anyways
LA was a garbage team when he went there. I think he just money chased after not really sure what the ST. Louis era was about but got his back ruined in the Canada cup

So, LeFlop has lost exactly as many Finals as Jordan has won.
Ha. And they say King James is the greatest.

And they have been correct for years now.

All those longevity records.......but the longer he plays the less championships per year he gets which puts him even further behind MJ

Rich Paul with the whiteboard on TV showing the possibilities for LeBron is ridiculous

For all of his success I swear I think LeBron would trade all of it to just be an interesting person. All of this for 20 years and still nobody cares

You're clinically insane. MJ would leave LeFlop in absolute tears. I've never seen a better competitor than Jordan.
Michael Jordan: GOAT; Greatest of All-Time
LeBron James: GOAT; Go On Another Team
Jordan built a franchise. James can't spell "franchise".

Believing MJ is better then LeBron isn’t crazy.
Typing this stupid shite and actually believing it is.
