remember when MJ came in the league, and everyone said “That is good, but definitely not Jim Loscutoff good.”

This isn’t a slight to MJ. MJ was very good, top 10 to ever play the game. Loscutoff just was on a level that few have been able to reach.

Anybody in here a doctor? I keep hearing this slurping noise, day and night, and it won't stop.

It’s silly to argue against him being the GOAT at this point. And I was Team MJ forever.

If you could go create the perfect basketball player in a lab it would be LeBron James.

My exact thoughts. I fricking HATED Lebron during his first run with the Cavs and the Heatles. Absolutely loathed him. I knew he was great but I used to think he was such a choker and he did seem to wilt during some high pressure situations.

IMO people will look back at game 6 against Boston 2012 as THE turning point in his career. Lebron has been absolutely lights out in the playoffs and high pressure moments since that game. Just a complete monster and the perfect basketball player.

Boom isn’t here yet but Harden was mentioned for some reason so he should be here shortly.

He did not beat the 73 win version of the warriors. We all know Lebron is great you don’t need to lie. the version of the warriors that he beat in g5-7 is not even a 60 win team.

Remind me, is this the same playoffs when Harden averaged a 41% fg pct, 31% 3pt fg pct% to go along with 5 turnovers while being deadweight on defense in a gentlemen’s sweep against a broken Warriors team?

This is in year 15, and he’s having his best postseason ever. It’s beyond remarkable, there’s no words to describe greatness at this level.

He is playing phenomenal ball for sure. I just don't think this postseason through the east in 2018 is a great feather in his cap. He's had slightly worst post-seasons against better teams in the east. Boston/detroit/orlando have all head teams who are better than anyone in the conference this year.

People talk about GS's help in going through the playoffs, but in 2016 Cleveland got a gimp Curry and this year are getting a Boston team without its 2 best players.

When you look back on Lebron, you probably wont look back on his 2018 postseason run as that great, because it included wins over no teams of consequence thus far. If he wins the title, that will change real quick

You will surely apply this logic to the 2018 Rockets verse a Iggy-less Warriors correct?

Ergo, if the Rockets beat the hobbled “Best team of all time”, then they didn’t beat the best version of them and therefore the Rockets have no claim for the best team of all time moniker.

Fair?

I hate to burst your bubble..

But what he's doing right now will forever be discussed because he's doing it after 54,000 minutes.

MJ was dicking around with the Wizards at this point in his career(he was actually by playing anymore).

Do you think MJ was good enough to do what Lebron is doing this year? People will most certainly look back at this fondly. And guess what, we get to do it all over again next year

If Lebron wins tomorrow he will have beaten two 50 win teams and a 48 win team this run. Just because they lack all-star power doesn’t mean those teams weren’t good. Before the playoffs started many people wrote the Cavs off in the playoffs, he’ll they even had 76ers taking the Cavs out. And it isn’t like the Cavs are oozing with star power.

Rox are done and he knows it. That’s why he’s ramped up the shots at Lebron

And after all that, the best case scenario is he falls to 3-6 in the NBA Finals. The more likely scenario is he loses the ECF to a team led by rookie Jason Tatum.

Only in the mind of idiots is making 6 finals, regardless of record a bad thing.

Jordan averaged something like 42/8/7/3 in the 1993 Finals. And, you know, actually won the series.

So yeah, he absolutely was.

It's not a bad thing

But it also wouldn't have happened in the west, which is not Lebron's fault, but also tough to ignore.

When comparing him to a guy who never lost in the Finals and has twice as many rings?
