How was his % on dunks?
I’m not quite sure on dunks specifically.

But I do know he took the most shots on the team and had the *checks notes* worst 2p shooting percentage on the team. Dead last. 50%.

LeBron’s worst 2 point % in the Olympics was 68.8%. Best was 81%.

And he did it against SIGNIFICANTLY better competition and on a worse team than Jordan(according to you).

If MJ wanted to he could have scored at least 60 in every Olympic game. But he is not the stat padder that your boy is.

to be fair, Bron would not even made that team.

egregious. I don't like that we're not allowed to make even the slightest criticism about '90s basketball but you can just flippantly say the best player of his generation wouldn't make the dream team.

That’s probably the dumbest shite I’ve ever read

His own comments disqualify his argument. He doesn’t watch basketball yet pretends to be an expert based on carefully selected box score numbers. He's a microcosm of the modern fan.

Averaging a point every 11.5 seconds, those are rookie numbers.

This is a dumb argument and always has been. If you could take and drop a player into a different time period, they’d have to exist within the same constraints (equipment, rules, nutrition, medicine and training) as the rest of the players. LeBron in the 70’s is going to look physically different than today. His knees are going to fail him much sooner just like they did for everyone else in that era. On the flip side a Dr J would look different physically as well and probably enjoy a few extra years if dropped into todays game.

We could even go more recent with your example. Had Shaq stayed between 286 and 294lbs which he would’ve in the current era, his career and effectiveness would’ve lasted much longer. Blowing up to 340lbs and beyond to take the pounding led to his knee and back issues which shortened his peak and career length.

Sure, but we know LeBron was different. Go watch interviews where NBA players are talking about how 16 year old LeBron was cooking them. We know how good he was at an early age.

He was ready SIGNIFICANTLY earlier than Jordan. And he’s a bigger more physical athlete.

We know LeBron would be better than Jordan early in their NBA careers in both eras for those reasons.

He ballooned to 340 because of hack a shaq and not a work ethic too weak to overcome his rare size?

To take more hits is why he gained the initial weight yes and he’s said as much in multiple interviews.

“NBA players are talking about how 16 year old LeBron was cooking them. “

This is also false, it’s Lebron who keeps telling people this story which has been refuted by multiple people and has no proof to support it.

Todays NBA requires different skills than the NBA Dr. J played in… could he shoot well enough from deep to keep the spacing?

Chalmette you are probably right about Dr J but guys like Jordan, Bird, Isaiah etc would have killed todays NBA with their skill set, toughness and the ability to get to your spot without getting body checked.
