He came from a mess and blew it up completely. The final sprint only truly featured 3 guys. He demolished it.

Broadcast starting soon...in the mountains today.
Stage 4 - seemed risky for UAE to hang back so far in those last several KMs.
No idea where WVA was for the sprint. Kept seeing Jonas at the front and WVA was nowhere. Not sure what's going on with TJV but they seem out of sync so far.
Alpecin has been impressive.
Not sure I saw the typical Cav burst of speed at the end, but maybe that was just the product of a poor lead-out for him.

Crazy big break up the road right now. Jai and Ciccone in there. Jakobsen looking like he wont make the time cut after being dropped almost immediately as the stage started.

I admit to Jonesing over some of these bikes.

Saw Simmons was in a crash, then at the medical car, seemed they were asking him, "how many fingers do you see". I think he has withdrawn.

Incredible that the Concussion Test was done while he was riding. I would guess if they had ann increased suspension they would have paused his ride first.

Trying to find confirmation on whether he has withdrawn, not seeing that, so maybe I jumped the gun on that and misunderstood what the guys were saying. Hopefully he's still in it.

Just saw the first idiot roadside fan - riders approaching and he leans out onto the road to make sure he gets in the shot for the moto camera. Every year I just ask myself: why? Why do people do these things?

Jonas attacked and Pog did not jump to respond. He increased his pace but never really came close to closing the gap. Jonas is on another level this year. Will be interesting to see the W/kg estimates for that final climb

Did it on his own. Just left him and Pog couldn’t follow. Worked his way up to the chasers, then they refused to help him...which is why he got outsprinted at the end and didn’t get bonus time.
