why not convert the Sphere into the A's permanent home and save some money
It's likely not big enough to hold a baseball field.

Baseball should be played outside. The new Rangers stadium isn't the same as the old ballpark. Regardless the temperature outside.

Looks like its going to be a bit "underground" like the Rangers' ballpark. Helps keep it a bit cooler.

It's like the Sydney Opera House and a snow-globe got it on.
The tiny ballpark in Sacramento hat the A's will be playing in for the next couple years is more interesting.

And you have to watch the A's.

It would be fun to time travel a guy from 1910 and drop him into that and say "Play ball".

I'd be willing to bet the visiting teams will dominate attendance .

It's Vegas. People will travel.

How much of that $1.75B are taxpayers on the hook for? No way the A's are footing the whole bill.

Jeez, I hate what baseball is becoming. That looks so damned corporate and superficial
Yeah, it's not for me either.

I think only like 300 mill, paid for mostly by hotel tax so tourists pay it

They should have a pretty good team by the time they get there

I live in Henderson, they can absolutely open the roof in April and May. After that, no thank you.
