How effective is Brawndo at getting rid of sand in your vagina?

Other than saying pussy I don’t see what else he said that could get him in trouble? He said multiple times he’s not diminishing mental health issues and that he’s kicked off the team because he didn’t show up or respond to the coaching staff for weeks. Seems like Kiffin comes off looking pretty good hear honestly

Your analogy is factually inaccurate.

Based on what is in the article Kiffin knew in mid February the kid needed a break due to health issues. The kid met with an athletic department mental health professional on February 28. The next day communicated via the position coach for the kid to come in to meet, the kid discussed it with the AD mental health professional on March 7 and said he wasn’t ready.

Kiffin was well informed about the situation with the kid.

A football coach chewing out a player for not showing up to practice is not a temper tantrum.

Again, it wasn’t that he simply “didn’t show up for practice”. Kiffin knew he wasn’t going to be there.

Kiffin has a bias for mental illness where he simply believes that anyone who has it is a “pussy”. He couldn’t accept that the kid was unable to meet with him for two weeks. He threw a temper tantrum based on that bias.

By the way, it’s also quite interesting to contest Kiffins public comments vs what he says in private when he thinks no one is listening

quote:

Kiffin spoke during the SEC Football Media Days in July in Nashville about Ole Miss establishing mandatory mental health training for all coaches and players. "This mental health area is not in that old-school coaching book at all," Kiffin said. "It was, ‘Hey, shut up and go practice and play,' especially in the sport of football. Just over the years in going through so many mental health issues with our players and coaches and not having tools or a good system in place — besides just sending them across campus to a mental health specialist. "I was excited to do (training) with that and excited for the education with that," he added. "The ability to see things and help our players is really neat. They just go through so much."

No if you do not notify your teacher you get a zero.

Obviously not.

You need to take a mental health break to regain your common sense and your dignity.

What health issues? Getting switched to a different position on the scout team is not a health, mental health, or anything like that issue. The kid thought he could spout "mental health" and do whatever he wanted to do, it just didn't work out that way for him.

It’s Kiffin so I don’t care. Talk about a guy who has had a privileged career (cause of what dad did) with no real head coaching accomplishments. But his name will always come up but he doesn’t really build contenders.

Depending on how this plays out, he could be in a lot of trouble.

And in several states, only 1 party needs to know there is a recorder being used.

regardless of how anyone feels about the kid, and if he is faking it, the university has agreed he has mental issues and needed to seek help. Kiffin should of just let it go, don't let him dress out or get ona any of the fields till he's 100% mentally ready, then in off season, cut him.

By doing and saying some of the shite he said, he can leave him and university open to suits. sorry, this is todays society and ways.

And if he really has mental issues, i hope he gets the help he needs. Mental health is not taken seriously in this country, and we have some people who really need help, some one to talk 2, etc, and people are afraid to get it, or fear a back lash, etc. Lots of people needing help in the streets, and if they snap,. its an innocent that gets it.

He accepted a scholarship to play football. He wasn't comfortable playing football, and didn't honor his agreement. That's a personal problem, not a lawsuit.

Actually, you do. FMLA

As someone with a genetic condition and has had to use FMLA twice in my life for health issues (not mental), I can assure you that you cannot ghost your employer and you are required to have documentation signed my a doctor which tells your employer when you will be able to return to work.

You dont just get to frick off for weeks and say, "I was on FMLA."

Meh. This is nothing. Kiffin won’t be fired over this. I’ve barely heard anyone talking about it.

Was he? You posted this on the previous page.

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATED TO KIFFIN BY THAT UNIVERSITY OFFICIAL.

At that point the university employed psychologist should have again communicated to Kiffin that the medical
recommendation was the player needed a break.

"Should have" isn't the same as "did". Maybe Kiffin wasn't totally aware of what was happening.

And if he did know as much as you claim, then that's even less of a reason for Rollins to blow him off. Kiffin said he wasn't going to make him practice or play a position he didn't want to, so what was Rollins not "ready" to discuss? Two weeks is still a while to ignore someone, whether or not you think it's an exorbitant amount of time.

Back in the day, teams had signs in the locker room, saying (roughly)
What you see here
What you say here
When you leave here
Let it stay here

It ain't like it used to be

Plus as Whitlock said, this dude knew he was recording the conversation, so he talked in the best possible light and acted all innocent to frame Kiffin.

Who knows how this dude normally talks to Kiffin considering he has so little respect for his coaches.
