He is a great American and anyone saying otherwise is trying too hard.

There's a Rogan podcast out there where -the guy he's interviewing basically says what cyclists do at things like the tour de france, it's unnatural and ultimately terrible for your body.
Sounds like doping might have been the only option.

I stand with Floyd. Lance tossed him to the curb and Floyd said frick it. I'm not gonna be your doggy when I can be the alpha. Floyds winnis light years beyond anything Lance ever did.

I would give a testicle to Lance if he needed one.

Floyd Landis' doping was way too obvious during the year he won. He completely bonked out on a stage, and the next day he flew up a mountain stage at a ridiculous pace.

Lance did it 10 yrs. Floyd had enough. He was behind because he didn't dope then he said frick it. Greatest ride ever. Up hill all the way.

Go look up every Tour de France winner
LINK
Not only were the most of the winners before Armstrong doping but the runner ups when he won were doping
Out any cyclist on the tour under the scrutiny Armstrong was under and yours probably find almost every single one of them were cheating.

The tour was made for a doper, thats the issue. It is way too intense as far as miles per week for it doping not to happen. Naturally, there’s just not enough rest or everyone’s stamina and speed would diminish greatly over the race.

Like a lot of things, it wasn’t the crime it was the cover up..dude tried to destroy Greg Lemond, screw him
I love how people say this. Greg started accusing Lance of doping after his third tour win. If Lance would have admitted it we would have lost millions of dollars of future earnings, no way anyone admits they were doping in this scenario.
Greg’s accusations soured his relationship with Trek and they dropped his line and sued him because he was threatening their business, and he didn’t do it just once, he kept doing it. In the end Greg was right and Lance was doping, but he didn’t have any proof at the time and his accusations was hurting Trek’s business model.
I’m supposed to believe Greg is the only clean tour winner in half a century, and Lance tried to destroy him. Nah, it’s more likely Greg was jealous because he became a distant second at Trek and he knew everyone was doping on the tour because everyone was doping when he was winning tours. He knew better than most the odds of winning the tour without doping were infinitesimally small. To be honest, Greg’s actions have convinced me he was doping when he won, it’s the only thing that makes sense.

This...yes, everyone in the sport was cheating but Lance doubled down that he wasn't and was adamant and obnoxious in the lie that he was innocent and took a lot of shots at a lot of people doubling down on that premise.

Lance Armstrong raised $470 million for cancer research. F all the haters.
That's not true. The vast majority went to cancer awareness. There was always sketchy stuff going on with his foundation. Lance got a private jet out of it and big fees as a speaker and there was a weird overlap between the non-profit side of Livestrong and the for-profit Livestrong.com which has always been a content farm.
Lance's real impact was in giving hope to cancer survivors as a symbol but whether they still felt that way after finding out that he was actually using drugs that could make cancer worse or even grow to win bike races is up to them.
The most fricked up thing about doping in cycling is all the shady docs who run the doping programs. These guys make massive amounts of money, Lance paid his doc, probably the best ever, a premium to keep him away from the other top guys.

Just curious, how would you have handled it? If you didn’t dope you have no career in cycling, if you admit it you have no career in cycling. The funny thing is everyone in cycling knows these two facts, so what is the right way to handle it?
