He’s a bum! I bet he can’t even throw backwards like Aaron Brooks.

if the market says the giants qb is worth 35-40mil per, then lamar is clearly worth that and some extra

Why would you pay a QB that can’t make it through a season healthy?

I didn't know he didn't have an agent. What an idiot.

The biggest problem with not having an agent is that since he's the one dealing with the team directly, there is no buffer and it's clear that the relationship has soured somewhat due to this.

As soon as his legs go...and we are already starting to see the beginning of that...his career will go downhill fast. I wouldn't pay him if i were running the Ravens. We have already seen this movie before with the Michael Vick types. Running QBs have way shorter careers. Would you pay a Lamar Jackson that can no longer run like he used to? I sure as hell wouldn't!

The Ravens and Jackson were over $100 million apart in guaranteed money when contract talks broke down. But yeah, some team will over pay to land him.

All I ever hear about Lamar is "bro he's an MVP, you have to pay him!"

Yes, he was an MVP. That was four seasons ago. He's not played anywhere near an MVP level in the past three seasons, especially not the last two. If he wants money on par with someone like Patrick Mahomes, he's going to have to play better, plain and simple.

If I'm the Ravens, I place the non-exclusive franchise tag on him this year and see about trading him. I certainly don't let him walk in free agency since he could be traded for solid assets, but I can't knowingly pay him as much money as Patrick Mahomes considering he's nowhere near that level.

Haven’t the Ravens been bottom 5 in nearly all passing categories with him under center?
