It's gonna be harder to buy championships in 4A.

Yes but that just means they will recruit harder. Problem solved

Right. It will easier to recruit players to play in 4a for exposure
Same reason Evangel used to play up to 5a

4A caliber athletics. D- caliber academics.

I heard they're doing it for the money. I guess there's more attendance at 4A games.

I wish Danny cared enough to still recruit. Gonna be tough to see my Cougars lose to that low-rent douchebag pastor.
But thank god Byron Starks moved on. Those teams were loaded

STM will probably have a much better all-around team for at least the next 2 years than they have now.

Carencro moving to 5A
There are three 4A districts with Lafayette area teams, so no guarantee of a particular district.
Jay hopes they consolidate into 2 8-team districts.

Private schools playing in the same association and competing for the same state championships as public schools is just plain wrong imo. Private schools have a huge advantage over the publics, especially in the lower classifications. Texas has it right on this issue. Louisiana and Georgia have it dead wrong.

Sad thing is they have been turned in several times, and investigated by the LHSAA in multiple sports, but nothing sticks. And why stop at 4a? Play all the way up!

I don't know him or much about him.
But Met him one time and he 100% gave off that vibe
