Incentive rich deal for a guy already making millions on endorsements. And if he looks healthy this year he is basically guaranteed another big contract next year

Idiots like Sherman, Jenkins, LeBron always seem to exclude the reasons why in this instant Newton was paid this amount(injuries & hasn't played in awhile) and forget about black qb's like Russell Wilson. The selective black card used at its finest.

Not to mention Cam’s deal is worth a lot more with incentives, some of which are probably just based on him showing up and being healthy a whole season.
Not to mention the top 5 paid NFLQBs are gonna be Mahomes, Jackson, Prescott, Watson and Wilson in the next 2 years.

It also doesn't really make sense when black guys are getting paid and overpaid by the dozens or hundreds every single year in this sport, so now all of a sudden the league has it out for Cam Newton for no real reason?
