B. Considering that LeBron has at least got his teams out of the first round in every attempt it at least proves that he can get poorly talented teams past the first series. Kobe has never been able to accomplish that.

The first round....IN THE EAST?

I would hope they could beat teams struggling to have a winning percentage of .400 to .450 in a 7 game series.

You need to post more often.

As should Baloo, but he only posts about sports that nobody cares about.

Need more of you, along with TTF, usc6518, and less PJ and unknownknights.

Will do. Maybe he'll even be lucky enough to have a season where he plays on the most talented team in the League, ya know like Kobe has for every one of his title teams and a few in which he fell short.

They were saying Lebron had the best supporting cast last year...until Dwight Howard happened. Convenient I suppose...

Laughing my arse off. You show me one legitimate publication that said LeBron had the best supporting cast in the League last year and I won't post here until the end of the NBA season.

He'll eventually win a finals game and likely a series. The general point is that it takes time and even great players struggle. Jordan was a selfish player who couldn't make his teammates better for years. Kobe's struggles came later due to having one of the most dominant big men in NBA history on his team from the start. Lebron has had relatively little talent on his teams until recently and has had to revive a previously dead franchise. Holding that one finals series against him is weak, especially since he's improved considerably since then

Kobe is the winner.
LeBron is the dominator.
Melo is the scorer.
Howard is the force.
Wade is the playmaker.
Paul is the visionary.

One should look at Kobe as a Bird/Magic like player now. Tons of talent around him, so he'll do what needs to be done.

Melo vs. James is a real good debate. People always underestimate Anthony.

LeBron getting the Cavs to the Finals is almost as big of an accomplishment as Kobe winning a championships as the leader of the Lakers. The franchise previously only had one period of success during the late '80s and '90s. When LeBron arrived, the Cavs had nobody. The only notable player I can think of from earlier this decade is DeJuan Wagner. It took the franchise forever to put decent players around him. Draft picks like Luke Jackson didn't help.

Kobe has had the resources that come with playing for the most recognizable and profitable franchise in basketball.

And if people want to say LeBron isn't clutch and hasn't won a big game, then look up that performance in the ECF against Detroit in 2007.

So the FACT that Lebron's teammates are inferior somehow make him an inferior player to Kobe?

Your argument is insane.

So you DEFINITELY think that Scottie Pippen was better than Kobe, correct?

Who knows? But seeing this is a Kobe/Lebron debate, I'm guessing this question means you've conceded that Lebron should not even be mentioned until he wins something.

Right now..it's LeBron, but since Lebron won't ever win a title..for careers its Kobe.

that and you Bron homers can drop every stat you want about 4th quarter for Lebron. Almost every coach and NBA expert will take Kobe in the 4th.

yea against shite-arse teams in the regular season. do it when it really counts, like the playoffs and nba finals.

he had one of the best series of all-times last season against Orlando, and he single handily brought the Cavs to the Finals. I guess he wasn't clutch against the Pistons either
