Yep, and gutting it out, how's that working for Kobe???

He's OBVIOUSLY still hurting from his injuries early in the year, and his play has really suffered from not sitting out.

Kobe would have been MUCH better off taking a couple of weeks off to heal.

Kobe having rings still has nothing to due with Lebron or Kobe's play this year. Lebron is having one of the best seasons in NBA history, for the 2nd straight season. He also had one of the best playoffs in NBA history last season.

Lebron is, by far, the best player in the NBA this year. There isn't a player in the NBA that is on the same level as he is right now.

Saying that Kobe's game is more "pure" than Lebron's really means nothing. Lebron gets his points of his talent while shooting a higher % from the 3. I'll take a dunk over a jump shot any day, which is why Lebron has shot a higher FG % than Kobe has since being in the NBA (also nor really close).

Since Kobe has better players that are bringing his numbers down Red, shouldn't his FG % be higher? I'll take the player shooting over .500 for the year

Truth!

And shouldn't his assists be higher as well?

I agree. I personslly think he should sit out a month, and get surgery in the off season. The dude has had three broken fingers on his shooting hand, a hurt shoulder, and a twisted ankle.

But alas, he treats basketball as a job and shows up at work everyday no matter how he feels. If he plays, its because Phil gives into him, bottom line.

It was that high earlier this season. Then, fingers started breaking. THEN, his fingers were being targeted as he was driving to the hoop.

It is refreshing to know there are still some people out there who haven't fallen victim to the Lebron hype machine

I find it mildly ironic that two of your three posts yesterday were the beating a dead horse emoticon, then today you bumped this thread after it had finally died.
