Herbie is being fricking retarded. Putting Penn State over Ohio state is fine.
But you can't put those two big 10 teams in and decide to frick Washington over.
People are still debating Michigan, WTF.

what was he saying on this night in 2014? When #3 TCU had won their game, but was a Co-Champ of the Big XII?

TCU didn't get snubbed that year. Baylor did.

Kirk says it again. The committee said OSU was a solid 2 before they beat Michigan.

He listened to what the committee said two weeks ago and last week

Let the suckeyes play because in the end the sorry fricks will not be able to claim any type of championship so they will be forgotten, as they rightfully deserve

He's right.

Doesn't mean Penn State isn't getting hosed and Ohio State is getting preferential treatment.

Downvote away. I already know sanity and any sort of rationale has left this board weeks ago.

The only thing I really think I know is that Alabama is the only good team in the country this year.

To me, this has a simple story:

1. If you want to put in 11-1 teams that have a great resume but somehow didn't get in the conference title, FINE. But make it concrete for everyone, not just those legacy schools.
2. Michigan lost their chance at the playoffs vs Ohio State. It's done, they shouldn't be debated.
3. Penn State is not Alabama from 2011. Putting them in would be fine, putting them in and Ohio State is not fine.

Ohio State's 11-1 record is sort of fools gold.

Oklahoma was a solid win on the road.

They beat Northersten by 4, almost lost to a terrible Michigan State team, and they got stopped short of the 1st down marker in OT against Michigan.

It's nothing like how Bama ran roughshod over a much better version of the SEC in 2011 before and after 9-6.

Him lobbying for Penn state is a ridiculous self serving prophecy.. they came back and earned a win while Washington blasted their way thru their conference championship ship game.. if he's so impressed with Penn state then drop Ohio st..

Add to that, I'm so ducking sick hearing about all 2 of Washingtons non conference games with hardly a mention of the real juggernauts Penn st played

No way Washington is left out.

Only team in question is Ohio State. Does the Big Ten champ Penn St, who beat Ohio State, get in over them.

TCU was in the year Ohio State got in at 4 and all they did to lose their spot was to win by like 100...
