I’ve got about 20-25 people coming over for a bbq. Put a brisket on last night, about to go wrap it. Doing 2 cajun beer can chickens later.

Not a fan of Commandment to win. Slowed up at the end on shorter tracks. Might have him in my superfecta though.

Looks like they’re getting rain now with a chance of more throughout the day. Won’t be a dry track.

Hate when this happens seems like we’ve had some rain several times the last 5 or 6 years.

I didn’t think NBC would allow the puma scratch. I’ve been waiting on that one for a week or so.

Hopefully this cuts down tay tay’s air time.

Can’t wait to see Baffert in his custom tailored $5,000 silk suit come walking down the track not giving two fricks about anything still getting all the attention despite his horses not likely placing

Supposedly Swift/Kelce have an ownership stake in the horse

I’ve had severe Taylor fatigue since about 2016

Now maybe I can watch more of the undercard without getting mad.

Also, not sure why they are promoting the “minor skin infection” needing antibiotics. I mean, the swollen left front is the real reason for the scratch. It has to be a pretty bad infection to need antibiotics and his coat has looked good all week.

Signed-a girl successfully treating a moderate skin issue with listerine

I do feel better about emerging market being so lightly raced after the oaks yesterday.

Questions about Renegade. I think he's the most "interesting" horse in the race.
People are saying Renegade is a sucker bet because he's in slot 1 and the wall of horses slamming him against the rail, yadda yadda. I get it.

But could someone tell me about the quarter crack issue he has on his front hooves and the special shoes he's got to wear. Do the shoes offer any advantage/disadvantage by themselves? How serious is the quarter crack issue?

We all know slot 1 was a nightmare draw, I'm wondering if the hoof issue is what actually kills his chances.
