Your nuts if you think Ken is gonna try and bang with Kimbo
Why ? he tried to do it with Frye, Franklin,Fujita, Sakuraba, Tito, and Berry?? He has done that in every fight for the past 7 years. Im starting to wonder if you have Ken and Frank mixed up.

Ken will do it just for the sake everyone says he can't. Kimbo isn't hard to get on the ground. If Thompson can do it, damn skippy Shamlock can.

see, that makes perfect sense....BUT, Shamrock has been a functioning retard for about 7 years. He will not do what makes sense.

Just for the record, you responded to me but I didn't say that.
I think Ken is too punch drunk to realize he can take the fight too the ground.

Probably my biggest pet peeve on this site. It is always something I really disagree with too.

He did not try and bang with Franklin, first thing he did was drop for a ankle lock and got caught. Tito is not a striker so he felt he had the advantage there and Tito was also a ground fighter. Fugita is more of a wrestler as well. Frye is a hybrid. Thing is you gameplan around your opponent. Ken is not gonna play into Kimbos obvious strength striking. He would be a complete moron to do that and I don't think Ken is a moron do you?

Sam Adkins - 7Wins 20Loses, Don't think he was worried about his striking do you?

Who would everyone like to see win this fight?

Ken. If I never hear Kimbo's name associated with MMA again, I'll live a good life.

Exactly. As much as Ken is a dumbass, I want him to win.
Sucks that Kimbo is the face of MMA for all the numbnuts that don't know shite about the sport.

If Kimbo wins and EliteXC goes under, any chance Dana signs him to a one fight deal to put him in his place? (Sorry for the shertard type question)

It really bothers the shite outta me that when I tell people that I'm a MMA fan, they say "that's the Kimbo Slice thing. isn't that rigged." that happens all the fricking time. worst thing ever to happen to my sport. rant over...lol
i was a big shamrock fan and dispised tito ortiz until i saw that TUF season when they were the coaches. now my opinion is vice-versa.

I don't like Tito either. I will say, the main reason he acts the way he does is to attract a bigger following IMO. He was the biggest draw in MMA just a year and a half ago or so, even with the losses. After seeing him on TUF, it became apparent that all of that is an act.

exactly. plus i really admire the effort he put into coaching those kids. i could do without his loud-mouth girlfriend/manager/slut but i will still watch him fight.

It doesnt matter, Shamrock has no striking, yet he believes he is good enough to stand and bang with everyone.... It never works. Before all of the fights I listed, Shamrock would have had a clear advantage on the ground against any of them, YET he chose to bang. His best shot was to get a TD, work G'n'P and look for the sub. He never attempted that. He didnt keep it standing because they have an advantage on the ground over him, he kept it standing because he thinks he's a K1 level striker. After standing with Fujita (until the heart attack) and his KO win over Kimo, his whole mentality really seemed to change. His best chance to win was always to get the fight to the ground.
You really seem to be blind to the obvious.
