Not neccessarily. Shouldn't Kimbo have about 50lbs. on Ken?

I was looking for that in the link. They're both listed at 235 lbs. on their profile but I don't know what weight each will be fighting at.

Kimbo fights around 230, when Shamrock is at HW he usually fights around 225. So theyre not that far off. Ken is going to get murdered. If ever there was a fighter that NEEDED to retire, it was him. How much more can he tarnish his legacy ??

I think you could spot Kimbo 50lbs and Shamrock could still annihilate on the ground.

didn't elite can rogers for his post fight comments about Kimbo?

I think they just had a talk with him. A few days later he posted a message on his web site talking about how thankful he is for the opportunities Elite XC has given him and he plans on making it his home for many years.

At this point I think Shammy is too punch drunk to try to take it to the ground.

It's looking that way. Latest rumor is if the next CBS Saturday Night Fights card doesn't draw huge ratings they will cancel the contract.

Kimbo/Shammy and Gina is a plus.
Going agaisnt college football is a minus.

but Kimbo and/or his handlers have a long history of matching him up against overmatched guys, even in his street fights. When Gannon turned out to be much tougher than expected his boys raised hell.

beating James Thompson in only your third fight is pretty impressive.

true, but you have to admit that was a VERY shady fight. It could have been stopped when Thompson was pounding on Kimbo, then the referee stopped the fight way too quickly the second that Kimbo had the upper hand. Looked like a fix.

Pro-Elite has made a few steps in the right direction ESPECIALLY by removing Gary Shaw from the spotlight. They have cancelled a few small shows in order to keep a tight budget. Joey V. was set to headline a Pro-Elite card in his hometown and they cancelled the show before notifying him.

I think part of Pro-Elites problem is they have waaaaaay too many orgs, and most of the orgs are operating independently. They need to consolidate fighters and have joint shows. Between EliteXC, ShowXC, KOTC, Cage Rage, and Strikeforce there are too many fighters and too many shows.

i hope they let about 50 thugs into the cage if Shamrock tries to use knees or take the fight to the ground. Thats against all team kimbo rules.

deuce, i thought Gina wasn't fighting that Cyborg bitch.

totally agree. it results in too many watered down cards rather than fewer stronger cards with more of an opportunity to bring in new fans.

deuce, that could be the fight of the night. Gina always brings it and that cyborg chick might be her undoing.

Actually, Kimbos "handlers" took on Challengers. Whoever had 10K and wanted to fight.

Yes, but is over matched and out-weighed.
