GS is probably the surest bet so I guess that's what he valued more.
isn't winning supposed to be the goal?

Just makes him look like a follower and not a leader to a lot of people.
i just don't get this. we don't know how things will shake out in GS
and this is coming from the original "KD hides in the playoffs" guy
the "leader" of that team is draymond green

People love leaders. They don't love followers. Especially in sports.
the NBA has become a team game
the "Jordan Paradigm" doesn't really apply today, no matter how much people want it to apply

Oh boy, you've done it now.

And the parity in the league just gets worse.. Just skip the season and play the finals again

How can they keep that Big 4 then?
they have birds rights on all others and can go over the cap to sign them, presumably after KD gets his extension in a year

The most bitch move ever.

Stephen A is having a meltdown
Posted on 7/4/16 at 11:06 am to UMRealist
Stephen A Smith needs to shut the frick up calling Durant out for doing the same damn thing Lebron did
Posted on 7/4/16 at 11:06 am to Chad504boy
Westbrook's reaction when he got the call.

Posted on 7/4/16 at 11:06 am to DJ3K
Stephen A is just mad because Durant called him out a few months ago
Posted on 7/4/16 at 11:07 am to DJ3K
IMO Lebron made it ok to do this when he formed the super friend team in Miami.

and the next deal, the huge one, has a massive difference
GS isn't getting his birds rights or any of the other advantages OKC would have
it's been reported he's leaving about $50M on the table if he leaves OKC

i think it's "worse" in terms of title chasing. not in terms of how badly he fricked his former team. lebron fricked the cavs so badly.
Posted on 7/4/16 at 11:07 am to Patton
And people can feel that way all they want, it still doesn't make it any less stupid to me

it wont be 50 million difference

I bet guys like Barkley, Malone, Ewing are thinking they should have just joined the Bulls rather than actually competing now...

but what's wrong with guys wanting to win?
I do agree, if the media or whoever want to be consistent, they should roast KD. But the treatment of Lebron was obviously absurdly wrong, so it would be nice for them to get it right this time.
