There are a few possibilities:
She's completely full of shite, and never had any meaningful transaction with UL. We have a liar, not an interesting situation.
For sake of an intriguing hypothetical, assume what she's saying is at least partially truthful, if so what is the point of coming forward? Presumably, she and UL established a "gentleman's agreement" where she would be paid for services and agree to not go public with it for obvious reasons.
Did she feel UL either violated the secret deal somehow? Did she, in hindsight, decide that the arrangement was unfair? Did she figure that she had her reward already and had nothing to lose by coming forward? Perhaps, external and recent life circumstances that had nothing to Louisville put her in some kind of jam and she needed to start generating funds?
I know there are different opinions about Powell's occupation, and I don't have a lot of experience in setting up arrangements with hookers, whores, call-girls or escorts. Call me naive, but isn't kind of bad for one's own professional reputation to violate former clients' privacy? Like especially in an industry where customers would typically wish for confidentiality? I mean, I sure as hell ain't calling-up to order a blumpkin if they planning on writing a book and go on TV to talk about it.

Kinda what makes me question the whole thing. Those guys are kings in Louisville, and they can get anyone they want.
We'll see what comes of this. Pretty risky move interviewing like that: she's either going to come looking great or just completely crash and burn.

I know man, i wasn't serious. One of my good friends is a big UK fan. Someone could claim that Pitino burned down Rupp Arena and he would swear it is true. He has a deep, irrational hatred for Louisville
