Is West Monroe not the football powerhouse that they were in the 90’s?

Nope. Since Coach Shows went up to the Big stadium above, the have never been the same.
Coach Arledge had some good runs but it's never been the same.

I have been saying for a long time that West Monroe football is a slumbering giant, waiting for the right combination to come along.

Zachary lost 35-0 to Ash I saw. Pretty wild

Seems odd to me that West Monroe/Neville would play a jamboree while being in the same district - is that a distance thing?

How did the teams last night look? specifically HC, BC, and SP? What’d you see?

Supposed to be a down year for Belle Chasse

They’re not in the same district… but sometimes that does happen

No. Not really. It's just getting together the local community for a scrimmage that doesn't really matter.

Walker always plays Denham in their jamboree every year and they are in the same district.

Denham won 17-10 last night @ Walker.

Fair, guess we did it differently back in the day. We’d usually play somebody we wouldn’t normally play for scrimmages/jamborees, or someone close but not in district

I wasn’t able to go to the game, but how does this happen in just 2 quarters with 2 good teams? Is Neville that good, or is West Monroe that bad. I haven’t seen any highlights.

it won’t be for lack of investment. But losing 27-0, even in a jamboree is really concerning. ASH had its way with Zachary. Zachary looks as big and imposing as any team I’ve seen, and ASH isn’t undersized. The rest of Cenla teams seem pretty bad, again. But jamborees are hard to read.
