Now that the Super Bowl is over and the NFL offseason is on the verge of officially starting, insiders around town are starting to report on what Jefferson’s camp is seeking in an extension.

According to Darren Wolfson (KSTP, SKOR North) on Mackey & Judd (Tuesday), JJ and his representation will seek the highest contract ever signed by an NFL player who doesn’t line up under center and throw the football for a living
He has about 6 years to cash in his maximum value before the team decides to possibly move on from him. So to me he should get the money, his taking a discount now will not buy him loyalty at 30-32 except from the fans.

I really can’t blame the guy. He’s phenomenal

Sounds like Justin won’t be winning anything other than individual awards for the foreseeable future.
He’s a great receiver but it’s definitely gonna set his team back.
Maybe Minnesota can hit on a rookie stud QB ala Burrow in a few years.

He’s looking to be traded. Seems this way but he’s earned a bigger check regardless

He’s earned it but some team will overpay for him and his stats will suffer, Randy Moss for example.

Perhaps he forgot
1. He was barely the O MVP
2. That football is a team sport where you need good to great players to win
Yes, LSU fan checking in

Catch 22 of being a stud WR/RB. You either get paid what you are worth and have your team not be as good, or you play undervalued and have a competitive team.

Good for him. I hope he gets it.

JJ bout to get that diamond platinum

It’s just a grill mouth guard. He has very normal teeth in reality.
Now why he thinks that mouth guard is a good look, I have no idea

And perhaps you forgot that he’s a torn acl or broken ankle away from being an afterthought
Cash in when you can, young man

You mean he'll be like the multiple time All-Pro, Hall of Famer Randy Moss?

When Moss was with the Raiders, yes
