Maybe it'll work out but if San Fran FOMO'ed up to 3 without having an absolutely clear target that they thought was worth the price...that's just stupid.
If you are going to overpay there has to be a specific plan and a guy you think is worth it, don't just do it to get a QB.

I just don’t see how Mac is that much different than Jimmy G besides can hopefully stay healthy.
When SF traded up I was thinking Lance or Fields bc they wanted something different.

He’s legitimately top 8 QB coming out that’s including Newman
Mond has the feet arm and has run a pro offense. He is everything you want in a rookie backup. You then stash him for 2 years and he takes off like Trent Green
