The day JoePa was fired, I was headed to Cocodrie to start a 3 day fishing trip with about 8 buddies. I am a friend from the neighborhood or church or some such, with a 13 year old kid that might be a good QB in high school if he can be coached up right. In our story, the mandatory reporter law is the exact same as existed at Penn State. So you call your principal and you and the young assistant report the matter but over the next few days you realize that nothing is being done about your report. But then you decide, I did what the law says I needed to do, I'm done. I will do nothing more.

At this point I looked him straight in the eye and said don't misunderstand my next statement because it is not a threat, it's a promise.

I want you to know that when the whole thing comes to light and I find out that YOUR coach raped MY CHILD and you knew about it and only told the PRINCIPAL????? You never thought to tell the ME, THE CHILDS PARENT?or the frickING POLICE?
