I watched a lot of the Cincy game Sunday and yeah Joe made the first game mistake throwing a desperation shovel pass right to Melvin Ingram but he was really impressive late in the game when they went to the no huddle late in the game and he was let loose to run tempo.

Watching Joe reminded me of Matt Ryan in his rookie year. Ryan immediately started getting better from preseason game to preseason game and he was comfortable when the Falcons went to no huddle. There are going to be ups and downs as a rookie but I'm interested in seeing some progression tonight from Joe.

I just saw Orlovsky on NFL Live. He was breaking down video on Baker and most of it was about Baker being uncomfortable in the pocket, bailing out too early and taking a deeper drop than necessary so he was late on quick throws. I also saw video of Baker not seeing wide open checkdowns. Will be interesting to see if he can stay composed and how much of a habit being skittish in the pocket is.

he literally missed on all of his deep throws last week

baker loves to throw picks vs cinci for whatever reason so i expect bengals to squeeze out a victory

I think Burrow is going to be fine. The hardest part of playing that position at the next level is the mental part. He isn't going to have a problem with that. He didn't appear rattled at any point in his first game, and he clearly has command of that huddle. If they put some talent around him, he will be a winner.

What a shite show combo of teams tonight. I’ll be watching the NBA instead.

Game will be some hideous 10-7 affair, with multiple turnovers and failed drives.

definetly

bengals o line is trash and the browns may be without 2 starters

this is gonna be an offensive struggle of young qbs, and it will highlight how fricking hard it is in the nfl

Well I know Joe has the drive and determination with a chip on his shoulder. It was obvious considering he threw an interception and then followed it up with a potential game winning drive under 2:00 in his first ever NFL game. I expect him to have a solid game after that loss. Hopefully his coaches can give him quality play calling to make it happen.

I worry bakers regression in the pocket is due to Cleveland not protecting him so he hears footsteps and that is going to happen to burrow

Bold Prediction: Baker thoroughly outplays Burrow and the Browns blow out the Bengals tonight.

Baker has been a flat out bad QB for 20 plus games now.

I very much disagree. More like a 17-13.
