No. not even close to proportional response. You are factually and legally incorrect.

The shite is your point?

Of course he would. Why wouldn't he be?
Let's see your statutory argument.

That's not true.
Let's see your legal argument under Oklahoma law. Where's the distinction, legally?
He either committed battery or didn't. Self defense either applies fully or it doesn't.

Message to ladies out there. Don't put your hands on a man. Not everyone is chivalrous. You might get knocked out.

She started it by slapping and then punching him. She should've not ran her mouth and left her fists try to cash a check her mouth couldn't cash. Joe Mixon even tried to scare off by flinching which is a warning. She decided not to heed it. They gotta learn the hard way.

2014 Oklahoma Statutes
Title 21. Crimes and Punishments
§21-642. Battery defined.
Universal Citation: 21 OK Stat § 21-642 (2014)
A battery is any willful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another.
That was easy.

Serious question for you shitheads
I'm pretty sure if someone pushes you and then strikes you across the face, you're allowed to defend yourself. Yes Mixon wildly overreacted but he didn't throw the first blow or the second for that matter. She was the aggressor here not him.

She started it by slapping

She pushed him so softly that neither of them moved an inch. She slapped him because he very aggressively came at her like he was going to end her night. Then he ended her night.
Obviously she shouldn't have pushed him. He did not act reasonable AT ALL. Almost permanently injured her. I have no idea how he didn't get hit with 2nd degree battery.
And forget the legal part of it anyways. It isn't black and white. What he did was horrendous. And he's a piece of human shite.
