Baseball fans: Intentionally throwing at a batter for a bat flip or something is the dumbest thing ever and could ruin a career

MLB suspends player 8 games for intentional throwing

Baseball fans: that’s too many games!!!!!!!!

You know it’s bad when several ex players have gone out of their way to talk about how bad of a penalty this is lmao.

Only fake baseball ‘fans’ say this. Likely people who live 100’s of miles away from their team and/or haven’t had season tickets for a number of years.

have no fricking clue why Dave is getting suspended but alright

Doesn’t the manager always get suspended when a player gets thrown at intentionally?

The MLB can’t let this get out of hand. If they don’t protect the Astros and one of them gets hurt because they were getting thrown at then the MLB damn sure has a mess on their hands.

The first pitcher to throw at the Astros was always going to be made an example.

They let it get out of hand when they didn’t punish the players who cheated lmao. We aren’t here if they don’t let the entire thing slide.

If they don’t offer immunity to players for coming clean then this whole scandal is nothing more than Mike Fiers’ word and a YouTube video by some dumbass in NY.

So you think the players came clean knowing if they said nothing this would blow over?

You’re saying they all willingly tarnished their careers just because?

Rest of the league’s pitchers should keep throwing at Astros to force MLB’s hand and see what they do

Every team should throw at them. Bunch of fricking cheaters.

Had they owned up to it and took responsibility, ok,, but the whole preseason defense of what they did was bullshite.

It’s one thing to throw at them but that pitch to Bregman could end a career
Plus Kelly was unprofessional

Gonna cry? Just take your punishment. The Asteriks cheated and no punishment was given by the commissioner. It's up to the pitchers now. I can't wait til they get beamed in the back again.

Seems like this isn’t sitting well with MLB fans. Dude was just serving up some justice. I get their anger.

That’s a good way to get your suspension extended on the appeal. I do give him credit for giving the middle finger to Manfred though
