It prevented harold from talking, right? Therefore no matter what he said was good.
No shite, huh? As much as I do not like Joe Buck, I almost feel bad for the guy for having to do baseball with McCarver all those years and now having to be paired with Harold Reynolds. The way this scale is trending downward, if Reynolds meets some unfortunate and sudden demise between now and the World Series, I guess next up to be paired with Buck is some random insufferable poster from here on the MSB…most likely a Cardinals fan.

FS1 butchered the moment
seemingly 30 seconds after ishikawa crossed the plate they leave the scene to cut to their sportscenter clone guys to let everyone know to watch their show after they return to the baseball

I'm strictly talking about in-game coverage.
That's fine. We can stick to that. Reynolds is god awful in the booth and whoever hired him should be hung. Obviously we dont necessarily agree on this, which is fine.

I think it was great.
Best part was he didnt say anything after (thats not a backhanded comment.) seriously there was nothing else needed. The silence made that better

I guess he had to do something to make up for his mundane call of Nelson Cruz' ALCS extra innings walk off grand slam from a few years ago.

Dude may as well have called a pop up that ended the 6th inning of a blowout.

it was a good initial call, but Fox screwed up by leaving the scene 20 seconds after the homerun for a studio cut in. terrible.

He typically gets on my nerves, but I agree. That was an excellent call

that's clearly not the world series.

I used to like him on BBTN but he is really bad in the booth.

Agreed he gets way too much hate
compare this brilliant call by buck to Bob Costas' inability to shut the f*** up after Jeter's last ever walk off hit

bingo
I love that what he said was short and sweet then let the moment take center stage. the cheers from the crowd, the jubilation of the players, etc.

My favorite Buck call is "We'll see you tomorrow night"
Posted on 10/17/14 at 2:45 pm to Hester Carries
He's so underrated. Even at football he's underrated. Let me post my favorite play in Saints history. His call is perfect on this one - as far back as the 2006 NFCCG. Excited yet understated at the same time. Lets the moment take over.

I want to see the WS crew of Harold Reynolds and Joe Morgan doing the games with Eric Dickerson as dugout guy.
