Most fans are fans of the team not the players. They see what’s good for their team and not for players. It is pretty easy JJ.

The NBA has millions of people who are fan bois of certain players. It's really weird, no other league has anything close to it.

Who doesn’t love listening to millionaires, who have jobs that involve working only half of the year at most, whine incessantly about not getting paid enough?

Scruffy loves it.

Bruh.

People blame the frick out of the owners, but after this whole cap smoothing debacle, I'm gonna start blaming the right party: the players association.

Yes, NBA fans are racist against blacks. Of course. It’s just modern Jim Crow!

Well if this is their opinion there is no way we're ever going to meet in the middle. No one has a favorite GM. People have favorite players and teams and that's why KD gets so much shite for leaving OKC. If a GM trades KD they definitely would have gotten shite on too. This is such a stupid take it's hardly worth explaining why it's wrong. Not yours, JJ's.

That's not entirely true. Especially when it comes to the NBA.
Yes, but fans of certain players are going to hate on other players. It has nothing to do with anything racial like JJ is suggesting.

Mental midget JJ Redick

1. The owners have something on the line. It's called an investment.

2. All the money that the NBA comes from white people. I would like to see the ticket sales broken down by demographic just to prove my point.

3. People bitch about KD because he talked shite for years about super teams , takes a super team to 7 games as a super star, chokes a series lead, and then goes and joins that team. He is a baby back bitch. And if I saw him, I would get a step stool and slap his punk arse.

I will never understand this mindset.

The players generate the revenue. Not anyone else.

How does that make them different from the employees of any large company?

Gordon Hayward got his fair share of outrage for doing what was best for him in FA.

Not saying Redick is completely wrong, but it's not that black and white. Pun intended.

And most, if not all, of the high end marquis players in the NBA are black, so any white player that does that is pretty much going to fly under the radar

They'll get some free time in the off-season, but any pro worth a crap is still going to be working out/training 8-10 hours a day leading up to the season. Call it what you want, that's work.

What? The owners don’t own teams for shits and giggles. They own them to make money first and foremost. You are delusional if you don’t believe that. On top of that the players deserve their market value. That is how a capitalistic system works
