How did Alabama’s collective help recruit this last cycle’s class?

Because the collective is setup to give nil money to student athletes, exactly what you are whining about with A&M

I’m not whining about anything aTm did

I don’t think Alabama did what aTm did

LSU finally has their collective ramped up and roaring too
I’m sure everyone does at this point. Just waiting to see if they can use them now that aTm paid their recruiting class. If the NCAA signs off on it being ok everyone will be ready moving forward.

This is just like a wrestling shoot. Jimbo is the face and Saban of all people is the heel.

I fricking love it! This is good for CFB

Dude y’all ranked outside of the top 25

Had an 8-4 regular season that ended with a loss to Ole Miss and the most embarrassing loss I’ve ever seen to LSU

That’s a really good season that springboards 8 5 star recruits signing a month after the season?

which is why i was talking about 2020 and if you followed recruiting you would know that classes usually are most impacted by the season before they sign as they usually build most of their relationships during the summer after said year

it is amazing how fragile the bamer sensibility is

this a battle of the most insecure fanbase in the world and the most arrogant (justifiably arrogant)

I hear you

I think this class was most impacted by Jimbo and boosters paying the class money, though

and you are welcome to feel that way

i feel like every school we were going against for the services of these athletes were just as active as we were in that regard

I don’t think Saban used NIL to convince recruits to come to Alabama like aTm did

I doubt Saban did anything more than the normal, “hey you have a chance to make a lot of money with NIL here in our nationally respected program.”

A&M bought every player on their team. Made a deal for name, image and likeness.

I don’t know about the rest of the quote, but no one with more than half a functioning brain could ever possibly deny that this happened. They literally bought their entire recruiting class, including some of the best talent to come out of Louisiana.

Then anyone with a full brain would know Lsu and Bama also were paying their top recruits, because they didn’t choose us for the school colors

“A&M was offering me millions, but I chose lsu because I really like Mike the Tiger”

If you watch Saban video from last night, he stated (basically) that A&M has a collective set up through a marketing firm, and that firm is funneling money to the players.

It's against NCAA rules but not against the law, so NCAA can't do anything about it.

NIL allows players to make money off of their name image and likeness

A top player can pick LSU and get something like $500,000 from cash app(or whatever Bryce got) or money here and there from different companies.

NIL has made it to where it’s even more beneficial NOT to seek out the top bidder if you’re not 100% all about money.

There is a world where schools, while not knowing what is exactly legal and not, played this recruiting cycle fairly conservatively while aTm straight up paid their recruits millions.

Your assertions in this thread have been wild.
