Not saying this isn’t true, but Balas is a moron and isn’t reliable.

That being said, I hope Harbaugh goes. He clearly doesn’t want to coach at UM anymore, so he’d essentially be a lame duck coach next year if he weren’t to get an NFL offer and returned.

When’s the last time a P5 coach got hired at the NFL level this late in the cycle?

Leaving your alma mater on NSD is pretty wild, although I understand everything that’s led to this point

I honestly don’t want him back. As stated in my last post, he clearly doesn’t want to be at UM. Unfortunately, the AD doesn’t have the sack to fire him.

Bryan Harsin was great at a more northern school. If I were Michigan I would look that direction

Ya"ll should have shite canned his arse when he set a interview for signing day. A complete slap in face to his bosses and players and the University.

You do realize his class is full? There is no room to sign anyone tomorrow.

This cycle is interesting with how long some of the searches have taken. Can’t remember this many NFL jobs being open on Super Bowl week. Saints job is a little different I guess since Payton just stepped down

Coach comes and goes.

If he is not a michigan-man, Harbaugh would be fired already one year or two years ago.

Looks like Michigan has the money and does not want to sign him more than the MSU coach. People still have doubts that he can beat elite teams consistently.

This should be a happy ending for all parties.

I'm not seeing anyone else reporting this. I think this writer is jumping the gun. Minnesota might end up choosing someone else

BoB is an NFL guy IMO. he just goes to the college game to wait for the right opportunity in the NFL to pop up

he'd be 10x worse in terms of annual NFL job rumors than harbaugh

I’m sure Harbaugh got his panties in a wad when Michigan made him take a pay cut because of COVID and years of underachievement. And I don’t buy that he’s leaving just because he wants to try to win a Super Bowl. Not surprised he’s leaving.
