They went to LeBron. LeBron said he loved playing with him. Deal is dead. LeBron leaves and Hickson gets traded anyways

Why have I been hearing all year from coaches and players and analysts that while everyone was showing up from the lockout out of shape, Lebron showed up in better shape than everyone else?

I'd love to know where you got this from. You've posted it several times under your various names, and I've never seen that even implied anywhere else
The truth is out there, you just don't want to hear it. The Suns wanted Hickson and the Cavs didn't want to give him up. Why? Because LeBron told them he loved playing with him.
20 seconds of googling found this: LeBron wants Hickson to get more playing time
LeBron is in Cleveland: Hickson is indispensable, even to get Amare.
LeBron leaves Cleveland: Hickson is traded for Omri Cassippi.
Like I said, you aren't interested in facts and truths, especially if they don't praise LeBron.

My response has nothing to do with anything.
That's just a funny gif.

this.I also think a lot of people still don't like that these three planned to team up to go after a title together.Nobody could have ever imagined Magic,Jordan ,and Barkley doing this.
magic had kareem and worthy, bird had parish and mchale, jordan had pippen, barkley did leave philly to join kevin johnson and dan marley (sp?)
None of those guys can honestly claim they wouldn't have done what LJ did. Hell, Barkley pretty much did exactly the same thing a couple times (Phoenix and Houston) hoping to get a title

Well Jordan signed that 8 year $24m contract early in his career. So by the time his contract expired he had already won a Championship or two. Plus the Bulls drafted Scottie in the interim. After LeBron was drafted, the Cavs front office was absolutely terrible at finding solid players with their first round picks.
2004: Luke Jackson #10
2005: No pick
2006: Shannon Brown #25
Plus their front office got played by Boozer in 2004. Any self-respecting player looking to be a real contender would have left that disaster of a front office and took it upon himself to build a championship team. No reason to waste your career because you work for an incompetent employer.

Charles was traded, he didn't leave as a free agent. Big difference. Besides when he was traded to the Suns, he had already peaked. When he was traded to the Rockets he was 32 and over the hump.
Even Garnett and Allen were in their 30's before they got traded. When Clyde got traded to the Rocket's he was 32 years old, in the middle of the season and in a clear decline in production.
I don't fault Wade for staying in Miami. Hell if I had already won a title there, got to live in South Beach, and be the face of a franchise, I'd stay too. I can understand why Bosh left Toronto even, because they just don't care up there and he had the decency to let them know that he wasn't coming back. LeBron left Cleveland because he wanted an easy way out. Not only that, he didn't let his team know he was leaving until a few hours before he was announcing he was going somewhere else. Not only that he has to go into primetime to announce that he is giving an FU to Cleveland and then going to play for another franchise player's team?
Then he celebrates them signing and promises to win multiple championships? Then he starts an ad campaign trying to play a villain while begging for sympathy? Then celebrates a second round victory like they won the damn championship? Then he gets to the Finals and disappears in the crucial moments of 4 straight games? And then has the audacity to call out his critics and basically says I'm still rich and you're still poor?
And people defend this guy? Why? Hell most people don't even hate them, they just don't like him. They are tired of hearing about him and how great he claims to be despite not winning anything. But this will go right over the fanboy's heads and they'll talk about his stats and how he never had any help in Cleveland (doesn't change his disappearing act in the Finals last year) and blah blah blah.

So you're speculating because Lebron once said something positive about Hickson, and Hickson was traded when the Cavs started to rebuild?

So chuck had no say in that trade?

No he wanted to WIN, which Cleveland couldnt offer him

Did he throw that party? Did he pay for it? Where did he say I PROMISE? Link?

He was winning in Cleveland. Hell if he waited it out another year, they probably would have been in the Finals again.

So why did he never do ads or campaigns for them before? If he really cared about them, he would have brought attention to them before this rather than using them as a token deflective shield for his ego.

I never said he threw the party, but he was obviously into it and supported it. You got me on the promise part, but he clearly predicted they would win more than 7 championships and that's from his own words.

e starts an ad campaign trying to play a villain while begging for sympathy?

So now you are going to pretend you didn't see that whole line of commercials he did for Nike with the whole "What should I do?" theme. He got criticized for leaving and the way that he left. He couldn't handle it so he went out and begged for sympathy. Take off the LeBron nut glasses and see the big picture kid.
quote:

Hardly, they celebrated getting over a hump they struggled to get over
What hump? Making it past the second round? Two of the 3 guys had made the Finals before and one of them had won an NBA championship. You don't celebrate getting over a hump if the hump was never there in the first place. Your nuthugging is consistently pathetic, I'll give you that.
quote:
how great he claims to be
When did HE claim this?
He tattooed Chosen One across his back when he was still a teen. You are seriously naive and ignorant beyond recourse. Enjoy your fanboyhood.
