They are taking flack because they didn't finish off the Knkcks when Melo went off for 40 pts? A guy on Sportscenter just said its obvious they can't close because they didn't finish the sweep.

probably because the Knicks are a wholly mediocre basketball team.

These guys get paid millions of dollars, and they get critiqued when they lose. No one is picking on Los Heat, that's just sports.

Hadn't they beaten the Knicks like 6 times in a row leading up to that game? Knicks were due to beat them once.

Oh shut up dude, nobody is sitting there talking about the Sixers or the Celtics not being able to finish.
And yes the Knicks are mediocre but when Carmelo scores 41 points they would sure be tougher to beat

Do you think Los Heat are the first team to get bashed on ESPN when they lose a game?

Yeah b/c they're not the 1 seed and they have no real shot at winning the title

Knicks were like 0 for last 13 playoff games. Then Melo and Amare with the hand play out of their minds. Los Heat will be fine for this series (limb, out on it)

I don't think many consider the sixers or celtics to be near the team that the heat are

well people aren't going to bash a team w/ their best two players out with injuries.

What exactly are you looking for here.... for people to pity Los Heat because of how much they get talked about on ESPN?

Try being a damn Rockets fan dude, they can't bash us b/c they haven't even mentioned us on a major network in three years

No I just think its funny the media tries to spin everything into such a huge deal, like the Heat should have just swept right through into the finals. I'm not really a Heat fan, I want Lebron to win a title mostly so people will shut up about him not being clutch even though he has been lots of times.
It's just they can spin anything until a huge deal

Actually, I think it is 100% the opposite.

Him losing generates WAY more news.

If they win, then what? ESPN First Take and all of those silly shows won't have much ammo to discuss regarding lebron.

Lose in the Finals again, and they have discussion topics set for another year.
