He just might be. The only other guy with an argument is Baker Mayfield.

Pump the breaks, jeez.
I’m thrilled for JD. He is proving to be a special talent that we all saw at LSU.
But ONE NFL season does not guarantee a career. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

He’s playing phenomenal, but I’d pump the brakes on that.

Sure. Who do you think is better in the NFC?

I can recognize he is playing well, ut that doesn’t mean he is the number one QB in the conference.

As was stated earlier, it's as much a function of JD's play as the NFC's QB situation.

We wouldn't be close to this conversation in the AFC

His competition is literally Hurts and Stafford. Which one are you picking right now over JD confidently?

JD5 is better than both of them combined. A more accurate thrower and alot better runner. Final nail for that discussion is he doesn't turn the ball over we saw that at LSU.

Not sure how anyone can argue he’s the best qb in the nfc now. There’s not much competition. Hurts and Mayfield maybe? Goff?

Nah, Jayden has transformed an abysmal offense into a powerhouse. LSU fans knew it would happen bc he took over the same way at lsu and won the heisman.

I wanted to put a couple hundy on them to win the whole thing before the playoffs. I just have this feeling about him being the first rookie quarterback to one at all.

I guess now I have to root against him for the opportunity cost.

But he's just different

His deep ball is incredible. The long one last night to Brown was as perfect as it gets. The receiver couldn't even see because the db had his hands over his face mask and it dropped right into his hands from 40 yards out.

So Jackson 5.5 turnovers per year? That’s your point?

This fricktard really trying to say that rushing for 1,700 yds over 17 games is doing something in the running game.

I guess all the Bengals bandwagoners have moved over to redskins bandwagoners.

That's just fumbles you idiot. Daniels is the closest thing to Lamar and those kind of QBs routinely fumble the ball and ultimately lose fumbles.

Josh Allen as the other comp to Daniels has a whopping 48 lost fumbles over 7 seasons, nearly 7 a year.

Daniels has zero such lost fumbles in 19 games and counting. Astounding.

Where we get these people???

Daniel’s ability to not fumble the ball and get lit up and get up is incredible.

I’m still convinced durability is going to be an issue with him long term in the league, but the dude gets up every single time

The argument that was made was that he was clearly the best in the NFC, AND that it wasn’t even close. Saying Daniels is the current guy you would build a franchise around for the future is a no brainer when comparing to other NFC QBs when factoring in age, skill, etc. . Saying he is at the moment far and away the best is not a statement that is warranted as of yet IMO.
