He’s playing phenomenal, but I’d pump the brakes on that. Let’s see how he handles a team zoning the shite out of him all game. Or a team with a functional pass rush and DB combo.
I mean he’s played an entire season and is playing in the nfc championship game.
It’s not like he’s playing the opening 3 defenses of Ole Miss’ season

They have film on him at this point. It's not week 5

It's not even that close. Hurts, aged Stafford, baker?
I'd take Daniels over those three
Tiers
1. Daniels
2. Goff
3a. Hurts
3b. Prescott, Purdy, Mayfield, Stafford, Darnold, Love
4 Smith, Murray, Carr
5 Williams, Young, Penix
Goff is the only argument here. Hurts is a sizeable drop off because he's reverted to being a subpar passer of the ball like his first 2 seasons.

He played Philly late in the season in a must have game and hung 36 on them (you know, the #1 defense in the NFL?). And he needed all 36 points.
Oh they turned the ball over 5 times in that game. And won!

Ok, he has beaten a pretty mid Tampa team ,and a Lions med unit that was -5 in turnovers and refused to do anything but blitz all game in these 0layoffs I can recognize he is playing well, ut that doesn’t mean he is the number one QB in the conference. If he has a bad game next week against a better team, that won’t mean he sucks any more than having 2 superior games makes him the best QB in the NFC as a rookie.
He is poised and playing great. Why not let it stand at that?

Deep cut:
Scary Terry is called that because he’s from northern Indiana.
Gary, IN has the moniker Scary Gary for its prodigious crime problem

I give credit when credit is due, I just don’t suck dudes off and overhype based on where they went to college (as a trnasfer)

You’ve lost your Jayden card too

This is because of Jayden.
That big run ekeler broke late half the defense went with Jayden
Bingo.
So much of the success of the running attack is due to option reads by Daniels.

Yes it is? He's the team's leading rusher

he's their leading rusher. Their running backs average about 100 ypg collectively. And they're a lot more effective when teams have to account for Daniels pulling to run. At absolute best, their running game outside Daniels is below average. We saw the same thing at LSU. LSU led the SEC in rushing with Daniels and were one of the worst rush offenses without him.
Washington had most of the same guys last year and were one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL
