Arrested for a misdemeanor?
I side with Hard On. In plain view and no threat to officers.
Let the man go. BS.

LeBron can’t read a book and has multiple championships. No correlation to being an idiot and winning

Gun at area 29 If that’s the case, I don’t blame him for carrying at 2am on that part of town

I'm betting he was either a dick to the cop or the cop respects team basketball. Also if he was at 59 and Bissonet at 2am he's looking for trouble. I've left Westwood CC fairly late at night and didn't like having to stop at stop signs or light's.

Cleveland Cavaliers guard James Harden was arrested in Houston, Texas, on Saturday for carrying an unlawful weapon, per the Harris County District Clerk's Office.
What would be an unlawful weapon in Texas?
Texas has some "common sense" restrictions
Texas permits constitutional (permitless) open and concealed carry for most eligible adults 21 and older. While a state License to Carry (LTC) is no longer required for most public spaces, it remains available to provide training benefits and out-of-state reciprocity.Core Requirements for Permitless CarryTo carry a handgun (openly or concealed) without a permit, you must meet the following criteria:Age: You must be at least 21 years old. (Federal court rulings have paved the way for eligible 18- to 20-year-olds to legally carry and obtain an LTC).Legally Permitted: You must not be prohibited by state or federal law from possessing a firearm (e.g., no felony convictions, no recent convictions for certain violent misdemeanors, and not subject to an active protective order).Holster Requirement: Handguns openly carried, or carried in certain pockets/waistbands, must be in a holster.Intoxication: You generally cannot carry a handgun in public while intoxicated.Where You Cannot CarryEven with constitutional carry, firearms are strictly prohibited in specific locations, including:K-12 schools and on school busesPolling places during votingSecured areas of airportsCourthouses and government buildings with security checkpointsRacetracksBusinesses that derive 51% or more of their income from the sale of alcohol for on-premises consumptionPrivate properties or establishments displaying legally compliant 30.06 (concealed carry) or 30.07 (open carry) signsTransporting in VehiclesYou can legally carry a loaded handgun in your motor vehicle or watercraft in Texas as long as you own or control it, the handgun is not in plain view (unless it is in a holster), and you are not engaged in criminal activity or prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Well, that’s just stupid, imo.
