The Thunder couldn't beat the Heat with him, and they certainly can't beat the Heat without him.

Harden is a stud.

He had horrible games the first 2 times they played OKC. I'm glad he finally had some fire in his belly against the team that traded him. That was huge

Is there a player under the age of 25 you'd rather have than Harden?

Durant
Maybe Westbrook
Maybe Rose

That's it.

Games like this make me thrilled that the Rockets have a franchise player to build around. With the continuing roster moves and cap room, the future is bright. People who think "this is merely a .500 team like the last three years" are blind.

Durant and maybe Kyrie. That's it.

I remember half of the msb saying the rockets got raped in that trade.

And half the MSB was stupid then. Whoever thought Kevin Martin could be just as good as James Harden on OKC was an idiot.

To be fair, they may have replaced last year's Sixth Man of the Year with this year's. Dude's shooting 43.6 percent from 3 and getting 15 a night.

If Harden hadn't completely shite the bed in the finals the Thunder would have won.

K-Mart is a better fit for OKC IMO.

Agreed. Harden is a #1 option. Durant is a #1 option. It's hard to have two of those on the same team. It was time for Harden to have his own team.

Yeah, the people who said that never watched Kevin Martin play.

They went to ESPN and looked up his stats. They were empty stats.

He scored a decent amount of points, but he is a shooter, and can't create his own shot like most star players. He needs a screen or a foul to bail him out on drives to the basket. And since he's a jump shooter, his FG% is lower than it should be if you are a 20+ ppg scorer and the #1 option.

He doesn't get many assists.

And his defense is terrible.

He is a good shooter. That is what it boils down to.

So he's not a good fit as the #1 option like he was on the Rockets. But he would fit in well with OKC where he doesn't need to be the go-to guy.

But he's nowhere near being on Harden's level.
