SEC has been in serious contact with Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson, and Florida State. Not clear if this will materialize, but they have their eyes on a true 20 team MEGA conference. OU and Texas just the start. #ScoopCity

Why? For money? To make the NCAA irrelevant for football? But then why?

Keep this shite on reddit. Jack Mac has zero sources.

OSU and Michigan would never do that. If the SEC somehow pulled Clemson and FSU then the Big 10 and Pac 12 would probably just merge, forming two mega conferences. Hey, we're the NFL now!

He’s trolling or retarded. Take your pick. He has no idea what he’s talking about.

FSU and Clemson are coming, just a matter of time.

He's a 25 year old dork who said UMass was shaving points like 2 years ago and that Cincinnati was painting their turf black etc etc.

My guess is he is riding the OU/Texas wave to increase his social media presence.
And on the 1 in 1000 chance he is right, he will be hailed as a genius even though it was a lucky guess.

The SEC needs to withdraw from the NCAA.
There will be no need for SEC schools to play non-SEC schools anymore in any sport.
The NCAA needs the SEC, the SEC does not need the NCAA.

Michigan would never leave. They will stay behind in a Ohio State free conference ...and still not win it.

I just don’t know if I buy that. I’m not saying we’re never gonna just get to some kind of mega conference. But there’s gotta be steps.
I think this is just wild arse speculation at this point.

Either that or then the Big Ten grabs the ACC schools it wants. Which would be UNC and Virginia for sure. Maybe BC and Syracuse and then try to force Notre Dame’ s hand as they’d had some scheduling issues.

—I agree. What would be the point? To ditch the ncaa?

The ultimate end result will be two super-conferences with an NFL type playoffs where the two super-conference champions play each other is this one bowl game named the “Super” bowl.
