Not a fan of the team but,

Underrated: Cleveland Browns Fans

They fully embrace their terrible mediocrity, keep showing up even when they lost the team, etc.

Underrated: South Carolina Gamecocks

I feel like they’re properly rated. THE COCKPIT and Williams Brice are always talked about as a top atmosphere in CFB.

The fans really don't deserve that piss poor organization, they went 0-16 and still had something like 90+% attendance rates

underrated miami huricanes. stadium is pretty intimidating on the few occasions when fully packed. their previous stadium (orange bowl) still has the record for the longest home winning streak

Nebraska

Kinnick in Iowa City is loud as F and the fans are on top of the benches. It can be an insane atmosphere.

I'll even give the Bugeaters from Nebraska credit. They bleed Husker Red and they love that team from cradle to grave.

Agreed. It’s not a cool atmosphere, the parking lot tailgating is mid and the fans are a bunch of stiffs.

Underrated- Colorado Rockies, they ranked 15th in attendance and lost 119 games this year

I got to about 5-10 ballgames a year and it’s always a great time no matter the outcome. Went to a Fourth of July fireworks game a couple years ago and not a seat was empty. Close game that went to extras where the Rockies ultimately lost but damn that may as well have been World Series game 7

Underrated: Jaguars. There's a core contingent of DUVAL folks that doesn't get enough credit.

Overrated: Saints. Y'all are fair weather, no offense.

Underrated South Carolina Football They show up no matter how bad or good they are

OverratedSeahawks their bogus claims of being loudest and they just never seem to be around when the team is not in playoff hunt.

I know this will get hate but Phillies fans are underrated. They voraciously support that team.

Surprisingly I agree. I went to a Phillies-Mets game at THE BANK and the fans were loud and passionate, but they weren’t the absolute shitstains that Eagles fans are. I don’t get it, but good for them I guess. I would call them Cubs fans on crack.

Overrated: St. Louis Cardinals. "Best Fans in Baseball" - easy when your team has almost always been good to great historically. Suddenly, they have a few mediocre/bad years and that the fan support plummets. 19th in average fans per game this season.

Underrated: Appalachian State. Biggest stadium in their conference and they fill it to the brim. They are typically amongst the leaders in all of college football by capacity %. Great fans, great town, and a great venue for college football.

This is a good one. They have an excellent fanbase. Unfortunately, it doesn't have any big metro to anchor it really. Manhattan, KS is kind of in the middle of nowhere. 2+ hours to Wichita, which isn't that big to begin with, and about 2 hours to Kansas City where it is competing against KU, Mizzou, Nebraska, etc. for attention.

Probably not overrated, but Miami Hurricanes football is about as bandwagon as you can get. You can get in Hard Rock Stadium tonight for $15 plus fees.

Yankees are overrated af

Funny, because even with a playoff team last season, Kaufmann was half empty night in and night out.

If you want proof of how bad Cardinals fans really are, look at the ones that nominate them for the most underrated in threads like these. The amount of self-congratulation Cardinals fans have would choke a Yankees and Cowboys fan.

You can't pick a worse stripe of sports fan.

But you will never catch me claiming that the Royals have the best fans in baseball. They’re mediocre to bad, and nobody argues otherwise. Thus, not overrated.
