I've never rooted for a team to lose so hard as USC this weekend.

We'll never hear the end of it if Lincoln Riley wins a natty in his first season at USC.
That said, he was right to stay out of the SEC.
I think, if USC does make the playoffs, they'll get hammered by Michigan or UGA.

ETA: Say what you want about Riley/USC, but it was a sub 500 team last season and he brought them to a 1 loss team this year. Pretty impressive.

The Ohio state/Michigan game is just a play on to see who will get destroyed by a SEC Team.
I think 2005 Texas USC was the hardest I ever cheered for another team pulling for Texas.

Riley is going to experience the same results as he did at Oklahoma. Finish in the top 4 and get destroyed in the first round every time. Once the top 12 comes into play it’ll make it tougher for him

Can't you be happy for what this could be? Do you want Alabama to have another back door chance (even though it is unlikely)?
How about enjoy USC winning and getting in (which virtually guarantees the "red team" doesn't), then getting stomped in the playoff? I could wish for no better scenario, considering the circumstances.
