Yeah SC could give Michigan a game if they make it...and now that Corum is out...because SC's run defense is sub-par...so they need to face a team that is relying on an average QB and get takeaways.
USC's takeaway margin is so insane this year, you can never count them out.
But Utah really pushed them around at the LOS in the first meeting. Utah isn't getting enough credit for how good they are because they're not flashy.

The IF game...
If we had a 12-team playoff and Oregon State was in...I'd like their chances to upset and be in the Final Four. They gave everything to USC and stopped that offense and just beat Oregon by not even passing the ball in the 2nd half. Michigan would be in trouble against Oregon State right now.

Jonathan Smith is doing great things at OSU. The university and fans should thank their lucky stars because he isn't greedy and I don't see him leaving for quite some time.
I'll give the Beavers credit but it has to be said that Dan Lanning stepped all over his dick in that 2nd half.
