It’s fricking Independence Day and there’s not a single damn ballgame on tv. There should be ballgames on tv all day long!

Its always been weird to me how baseball doesn't treat Independence Day like its an important day for them. The NFL goes all out for Thanksgiving, NBA the same with Christmas. MLB has the full day with none of the other major sports going and there's nothing special about it.

Twins-Yankees on ESPN Unlimited now and one of two games on FOX later. Rest are on regional networks. Seems like MLB should try to get more games on TV on America 250. Don't understand it.
Also seems weird that Yankee Stadium is basically half-empty on America 250.

Fox owns the Saturday afternoon broadcast slot, and Saturday primetime slots.
Most teams generally avoid the afternoon slot due to these rights and general preference of night games
