What a whine. You could make a similar list at any point in time.

The standards have been eroded over 70 years but now it’s a problem and some of you don’t want to watch? Then stop watching.

College football has been a scam for 70 years when they allowed recruiting to begin rather than picking current students who actually got into school for the education and wanted to play. Then allowed these “special admits” who could play football better than a regular student to skip class to “get treatment”. Then they gave them “special tutors” which led to showing up to test days only. Then they got “special dorms” and a “special dining hall” and then schools started creating “special majors” for these morons who were barely literate but allowed in campus because of a ball.

So, are you really surprised at any of this new stuff? It was inevitable. Yet for all the whining if a school like LSU came out and said - “this is madness and not what LSU is about. We are going to field athletic teams from students who were academically admitted with the general populous and have a team we are proud of that represents the students of LSU”. You guys would demand everyone be fired.
