Going to bat for him at all was favor enough. They completely embarrassed themselves for a guy that never took one snap.

Sorsby's agent (and Sorsby himself) are doing the guy no good by taking others down with them. If this is what his agent is about, even less NFL teams are going to want to intervene.

His agent accused the NCAA of making up the rules as they went along.

The NCAA does that a lot.

Not when it comes to gambling, especially betting against one's own team.

Bootleg Baker better be able to read a defense because he cannot read the room.

State Farm won’t even touch him. He was transferring money to 3rd parties to hide what he was doing. Employers in the financial services world aren’t touching someone with that kind of known history.

I felt kind of bad for him but that is a ridiculous statement to make. What are they trying to accomplish there?

More than 98% of NCAA student-athletes go pro in something other than sports, Brendan Sorsby will be joining them.

Cincy is suing him over the exit fee so he's trying to make them the bad guy.

The NCAA will give Bowling Green the death penalty for Sorsby’s actions.

His NFL chances may be affected by his gambling issues

This guy is out of his depth. His biggest current NFL client is Buffalo LB Terrel Bernard.

He might be fine representing second tier NFL players, and college NIL deals, but he doesn’t have the expertise to handle a high profile or controversial client. The big agencies have an entire wing dedicated to public relations and crisis management.

This guy is out there by himself burning bridges and trying to drag everyone down around Sorsby.

I did just a little bit as well but F it now, he can lay in the grave he dug himself. You can count on two hands the amount of people who have been caught gambling on their OWN team in the history of sports... it is not a hard rule to follow!

frick it. I can’t go to a college sporting event or tailgate without hearing the 20 year old bros bragging about their parlays. Gambling culture is bad for that age, and some of these kids are in above their heads, but it’s not hard to avoid the addiction.

Preying on the young and weak is nothing new. Boys that age are susceptible to drama with girlfriends, STDs, alcohol, credit card debt, violence, etc. Most “victims” will take accountability at some point and thank their lucky stars something truly awful didn’t happen. Sorsby isn’t doing that, instead it’s everyone else’s fault he fricked up. No different than Karmelo the killer in that regard.

I’m guessing his agent was also the one that encouraged him to fight the cheating and try to play. I hope this dude never plays again

The list of people who have turned this ordeal into their own personal public relations disaster is very impressive.

As someone suggested earlier in the thread, it might be time for everyone to stop talking for a while and maybe sit out a few plays.
