Tua is what, 5-10?
No...
He's taller than Brees, which is really just to say he's tall enough to play in the NFL.

If Tua is sitting there when the Patriots pick, they will 100% take him. It's the kind of crap that always seems to happen to them. Talent seems to just fall in their lap. I don't think they would move up to take him, but they won't pass on him in the 20's.

Tua’s offensive coordinator was an offensive coordinator in the NFL; however, Burrow should have his play calling be a criticism?

It’s just hard to tell lsu fans anything right now cause they are riding high. Burrow is a great leader and a great college qb. That doesn’t mean dick in the nfl

Belichick will have tom replacement in house and ready to play game one, you can bank on that.
tom still starts the season but will be on very thin ice and a short leash
i think this is toms bledsoe year where he plays most of the season with bill waiting for a reason to replace him
bill DGAF about loyalty or any of that BS
whether by FA or draft they will get a replacement for brady and dont discount teddy bridgewater being able to walk on the field and never miss a beat in bills system

Tua will end up a Patriot. The Patriots have the draft capital to make this happen and the players to make it happen.
I believe they have 12 picks this year, 10 the following year, and almost own 1/4 of the 6th round this year.

Uh, no. Burrow is going to be a very good pro. My only regret is he'll be gone before the Fins pick.

It’s unpopular but lsu has play calling and receivers that are a nice crutch for burrow. He is gonna run it in the nfl and those big hits he takes will knock him out.
Tua has an elite throwing ability. That will transition to the next level. Just too bad he couldn’t get the nfl med staff instead of the bama med staff.
Calling it now Tua significantly better pro than burrow when it’s done
:that’s bait:

slow down, einstein. Tuna is at least 2 to 3 months away from beginning to know if he can ever even play again. Almost no chance of Tua playing next season. Tua's future is foggy at best for at least 12 more months. He's as likely to be the next Prothro as he is of ever be a starting qb in the NFL. This injury is far more serious than you people understand.
This is all BS. From all accounts the injury isn't as bad as initially thought.

I do not think Burrow will be first QB taken in this draft. I hope he ends up in Tampa and forces Jameis out of a job. He and Arians would be amazing together.

But a very large part of burrows game is the scramble
Correct.

he isn’t Lamar Jackson
He doesn't need to be. Totally pointless remark. Scramble doesn't always mean scramble --> run. He can do what he predominately does, which is scramble --> pass.
quote:
doesn’t have the size of josh Allen.
Josh Allen is literally an inch taller than Burrow. Burrow at 6' 4'' is the perfect size for a QB.

The Patriots have a ton of picks this year, but not a ton of early picks.
LINK
- 1st round (own)
- 3rd round (own)
- 3rd round (projected compensatory pick: Trey Flowers)
- 3rd round (projected compensatory pick: Trent Brown)
- 4th round (via Chicago Bears)
- 6th round (via Houston Texans: Keion Crossen trade)
- 6th round (via Denver Broncos: Duke Dawson trade)
- 6th round (projected compensatory pick: Malcom Brown)
- 6th round (projected compensatory pick: Cordarrelle Patterson)
- 7th round (via Seattle Seahawks)
- 7th round (via Falcons)
- 7th round (via Philadelphia Eagles)
The Texans were in a very similar draft position (#25) to the Patriots (#23) when they traded up for Deshaun Watson with the #12 Pick. The Texans traded their #25 pick, and the next year's pick to move up.
When the Rams traded up for Jared Goff from #15, it took: 1st Round (#15), 2 2nd Round Picks, 3rd Round Pick, Next Year's 1st, Next Year's 3rd for #1, a 4th Round Pick, and 6th Round Pick.
Depending on if/where Tua falls in the draft, it will take at a minimum the next two 1st round picks to move up into the teens, or a cache of picks and probably the 2022 1st round pick to move into the top 5.

Hot take: lsu has better receivers than bama. Especially jamar chase
Some have called Bama’s WR group the best ever
I don’t know if there is a decent mock foe 2021 to see where Chase would rank but Juedy has been ranked as high as 3 for this draft

nope
Belichick would rather have Burrow over Tua

bill isnt dumb and he isnt wasting a 1st round pick on an injury prone guy no matter how good the upside might be
he is a numbers guy and will take the lowest risk high reward player that doesnt have a history of injury
he would rather stay safe with the 3rd or 4th best guy then risk a gamble on a high NFL bust type of guy like tua who cant stay healthy in college
