Is Tua to the Patriots an idea Belichick would entertain?

Haven’t just sat down and watched YouTube in a while at least in the sports side of things and after seeing some evaluations about 2-3 of them said Tua to the patriots is a thing.

Anybody hear anymore support for that from other places? A fairly hot take but it’s not something I’d put past Bill to be honest. He’s done crazier shite on draft day and in game. Would be a bit of a weird move considering they already have Stidham.

This of course is all assuming Brady either moves on or is almost assured to have very limited days in Foxboro. Let it be known I’m not saying the support is coming from GMs. I’m just talking about the idea arising from talking heads. Some of which were former player for what its worth.

He's still going top 10, right? If so, do they have the assets to get there?

They would love to get him, regardless of what Brady does

Tua is going in the top 10. He is a significantly better passer than Burrow.

It’s unpopular but lsu has play calling and receivers that are a nice crutch for burrow. He is gonna run it in the nfl and those big hits he takes will knock him out.

Tua has an elite throwing ability. That will transition to the next level. Just too bad he couldn’t get the nfl med staff instead of the bama med staff.

Calling it now Tua significantly better pro than burrow when it’s done

That’s what I’m curious about. Would he sell his soul for a gimp atm and just ride his defense all next year to a slightly mediocre season and just blow their load on offensive talent and line play.

Burrow, whose never had an injury as a starter, is the one to get hurt and glass Tua will be solid?

Hot take.

And Alabama had receivers and play calling just as good.

I don’t know what will come of Tua on the injury front. He may be injured consistently. But a very large part of burrows game is the scramble and he isn’t Lamar Jackson and doesn’t have the size of josh Allen. See: auburn hit on tRant. In the nfl, he might die with that hit

Teams place premiums on qb. They will overdraft. It’s too hard to find one who won’t get killed by the jets d. And can actually complete passes and get yardage.

Maybe but it is old and joe brady is fresh. It takes nfl teams a couple weeks to adjust to a new system or new qb. Lord knows it takes college teams years possibly with the lack of competition and scheduling.

Would work out nicely if they could get Tua and re-sign Brady on a 1 or 2 year deal. Let Tua spend 2020 rehabbing and learning from Brady. Gonna be very costly for them to trade up high enough in the draft though

Jacksonville gonna take a QB in the first round with Minshew plus all they have tied up in Foles? Nah. They’ll trade the pick before they take a QB

Hot take: lsu has better receivers than bama. Especially jamar chase

If jville was confident in foles they wouldn’t have benched him. Tanking isn’t really a thing in the nfl. Guys are way too juiced and competitive to give a frick about some unknown rookie. They need qb and bad

LSU receivers are more physical and can better make catches in traffic. Bama receivers are speedsters that burn the defensive back on the line at the snap. Both sets of receivers are very good but perhaps LSU’s are more suited for the League.

slow down, einstein. Tuna is at least 2 to 3 months away from beginning to know if he can ever even play again. Almost no chance of Tua playing next season. Tua's future is foggy at best for at least 12 more months. He's as likely to be the next Prothro as he is of ever be a starting qb in the NFL. This injury is far more serious than you people understand.

I do, He's been hurt and had several procedures to get him back on the field (looking @ you Saban). Last injury was his Hip joint came out of the socket and needed Repair!!!! So NFL executives are going to run around wanting to draft this guy???? seriously????

oh then the best one...

No No No, Burrow moves in the pocket looking to throw, a scrambler= Pocket breaks down and they are running, Burrow pocket breaks and he will bid time for the receiver to come open.
