I'm genuinely curious if you don't realize that most people think you're the hillbilly PJ of this board.

I dont think Lawrence is gonna end up being great in the NFL. That said I think its absurd to write off a rookie (QB especially) this early. Gonna need a much larger sample size. Most rookies struggle early on transitioning at this level.

I do.

It would help if he had an NFL coach.

Also set an NFL rookie record for TDs too.

Crimsonite##,

I’d respect you more if you had flat out stated your opinion instead of doing the passive aggressive question format.

3 weeks in you don’t pose this as a legit question. U go all in skip bayless style or not at all.

He had 2 TDs in his first 3 games so Lawrence is already ahead of his pace there.

I don't doubt that. It is 2021 after all

Sure, and I’m not arguing that Lawrence is or will be better than Manning, but writing off one but not the other doesn’t make sense

Too early to call it, though he has looked like shite so far.

This although I think TL will do fine but pretty much a fair assessment of the other side of things.

think we give him more than three games, but that's just me .

Nope - trade him to NYJ for a 2024 6th round pick, fire CUM, tank the season, try to get the #1 pick in next year’s draft.

That’s how LSU fans would run the Jags

Lawrence has plenty of talent. Urban Meyer is an embarrassment when he doesn’t have the best players on the field.

Yep.

Just look at Sam Darnold. He looks completely different w/the Panthers. It's funny what being w/a competent team can do.
