When was there any doubt in the first place?
In 2016, when Lebron took a team worse than any team Jordan won with and almost singlehandedly beat a team way better than anyone Jordan ever had to play against.

Lebron takes the type of team that Jordan used to lose in the first round with and takes them to the Finals every year.

Don't waste your energy.

Inadequate males watched a bold Michael Jordan never win anything and then win things after he got the best coach of all time and the 2nd best #2 of all time. Pippen would be the best #2 but I'm not sure if he's better than Curry and if one of them died would Klay be the best #2? Who knows? Lol

These figs can't stomach their early years being bullshite so they cling as hard as humanly possible to what they saw.

WE DIDNT SHOOT OR KILL PEOPLE LIKE THESE YOUNG FOLKS DO.
NBA BASKETBALL PLAYED MORE DEFENSE.
POLITICS WASNT DIRTY.
WE WORKED HARD AND DIDNT MAKE EXCUSES.

These old people are dumb. And not only are they stupid as frick, they have nostalgia fueling their retardation.

It's best to just present them with evidence and watch them react.

What is your point?

Are you saying Kobe was a #2?
are you saying Durant is a #2?
Are you saying Curry is a #2 while also saying Durant is a #2?

Yep. This is the only reason we’re even debating this. We all loved the Jordans that our daddies bought us. Doesn’t make him better than Lebron.

The King is the best.

4th year, age 24, took a Mike Brown coached team to the finals. 2nd leading scorer was 15 ppg Larry Hughes.

Took Jordan 7 years to get to the finals.

I traded a fricking brand new charizard card that I opened from a pack I got at target for 5 or 6 Michael Jordan cards.

I was born in 1990 and my entire childhood I heard my dad shite on NBA basketball and PRAY that the thug arse league could revert back to the days of the GOD Michael Jordan days.

For over half my life I just figured Michael Jordan was the greatest thing that's EVER happened to sports.

But now that I can see and think for myself.

I understand his myth. I know how and why it happened. And I don't do anything to deny it. There's just something invigorating about basketball when he played. It was cooler when it was Magic vs Bird, but Michael had his era too.

But old shits are wrong about basketball not being awesome now and they're wrong about Lebron not being as good as the best who have ever played.

Which one of Curry and Durant is 1? They both can’t be 1

Kobe was 2 behind Shaq

You just keep sticking your foot in it.

Do you really think that MJ at age 34, after many years on the NBA road, could not handle his drinking on the eve of a pivotal game 5 in the NBA Finals? And that this resulted in a hangover so bad that it lasted until 6 pm the following day? If so, you are truly a dumbass.

Yes they can. That is why people hatred Durant going to them.

Mike was clealry the number one option. Scottie is two years younger. There was no doubt who was the number one option.

Kobe was 2 for a short couple of years. By 00-1 he was taking more shots than Shaq. You had one ascending player while the other was on the back half of his career. The disparity was minimal.

Hardly the same as two young players like Scottie and MJ. Where MJ is taking 22 and Pip is taking 14. Scottie never took 20 shots a game. The smallest shot disparity between them was around 6.

Once Kobe became a real starter, 98-99 the greatest shot disparity between them was 5. And that was Kobe taking more. And by 01-2 Kobe is taking more shots.

You’re not much younger than me, so you are an old shite trying too hard.

LBJ is a great passer and bigger than MJ.

MJ is a more fluid athlete. Jump higher...LBJ is at the bottom of the top tier of leapers... no shame. If you have elite top leapers, you have elite bottoms. It’s 2018, we embrace LeBron after all these years.

he had all of the intangibles that you wanted out of the GOAT. He made everyone around him better, he had the killer instinct and when the big game was on the line, they weren’t going to lose.

This is such a bs argument. MJ is absolutely one of the best players to ever play the game. He was also on a loaded team with another top 50 player ever, a really strong 4 for all 6 championships and hands down the best coach in NBA history.

This comparison between eras bullshite is just that, bullshite. No one even mentions Kareem or Wilt or Bill Russell or Magic because the majority of people on this message board are old enough to remember prime Jordan but not old enough to remember the prime others. Jordan is fantastic but not a clear cut better player over his career than: Kareem, Magic, Wilt, and yes, Lebron.
