Kareem Abdul Jabar is the goat. They literally changed the rules of the game to stop him.

Lebron is more physically gifted. He would beat Jordan 1 on 1 more often than not. Jordan is the best basketball player ever though. All he did was win. He played with more heart. He was clutch. (Lebron chokes often). Michael Jordan is by far the greatest player ever.

I can’t believe you’re still going with this. LJ is a head case and emotionally quits in games. MJ would’ve made him cry if they played together.

In the sleep and not smoking area.
Didn't matter bc he still dominated games regardless

Also the keeping his muscles maximized over time area.
No one player's the same as the other believe me when Michael played he worked harder than anyone in the league but you have to understand after 9 seasons MJ accomplished basically more than anyone in the league and he was only 30 sometimes guys retire on top and then the urge arises again and so on and so forth, is what it is

Also continuing to be mentally strong over the years area.
You're literally trashing a dude who walked out on Bulls practices when he believed Doug Collins was screwing up the score, the guy who lost a ping-pong game, bought a ping-pong table and practiced until he became the best player on the team, the guy who routinely smoked his teammates in poker, the guy who eviscerated Clyde Drexler after the media made it a point to make it a MJ vs Clyde matchup in the Finals, etc this dude always brought it unlike the other guy who choked against the Mavs in the Finals
quote:
MJ could have been better. He SHOULD have been better.
Not sure how someone could be better than what all he accomplished, those MVPs, those scoring titles, those DPOYs, those mesmerizing playoff performances, just everything

But like so many before and after him, he just didn't have the mind.
Ask Toni Kukoc about Jordan's "mind" after he was thoroughly victimized by Jordan in the 92 Olympics when Jerry Krause praised him to the heavens, Dan Majerle after the 93 Finals as Krause praised him back in 88, etc

I think Jordan and lebron are both ultimate competitors. If lebron played in Mjs era o have a feeling ththeththey wouldve pushed each other to be better and of lebron was doing everything he could to enhance his body MJ would as well
I could easily see a scenario where MJ saw Lebron doing something better than him and being determined to be better than Lebron at whatever he felt inadequate at.
I have enough respect for MJ to believe that. And I truly believe it.
But Lebron would be JUST as rabid in his journey to be better than MJ. And he'd be doing it as a bigger man. A more willing to mold himself to a team man. A better passer. A better shooter. A better teammate.
Lebron is better.

There was never any real debate amongst basketball experts who saw both play.
Anyone under the age of 25 opinion is completely invalid on the subject and that's about 95% of Lebron's backers.

Reauxl, you know my history you know Im LeGOAT all the way but I'm not so LeGOAT I can't be objective about things both players are tremendous and great competitors and champions but comparing them is like apples to oranges in my estimation

You're objective.
And you're my guy.

LeBron isn't in the top 5 all time so anyone who seriously believes he is the greatest of all time is outing themself as a fool or outrageously naive.

LeBron is too soft for Jordan's era.

Game-tying/go-ahead field goals with under 10 seconds left in the postseason:
Michael Jordan: 7/15 (47%)
Kobe Bryant: 5/22 (23%)
LeBron James: 12/23 (52%)
