You should be ecstatic as a proclaimed WNBA fan, right? But you have a problem. The new WNBA fans didn't "come around" to liking what was represented for Decades in that perverse, bankrupt unappealing League... They came for the Cait league and that pisses you off....the source of the popularity. Tough.

What part of this did you not understand?

Why would I be upset by the WNBA gaining popularity? I'm one of the few on this board that actually watch the games. I would like to see the league continue and prosper.

I agree. But what does that have to do with what I've posted the last couple of days?

Oh, and BTW, Queen Cait is 1-17 over the last two games on 3-pointers.
Keep telling yourself that she's a generational talent.

CC had 19 pts 10 asst today…would’ve had 4-5 more if her teammates could catch and finish a pass!!!

CC had 19 pts
She shot the ball 20 times (7-20), and they lost again. Kelsey Mitchell scored 20 points and only needed 13 shots (8-13, 3-6 3pters) to do it.
Queen Cait isn't even the best guard on her team, much less the league.

I know it's still early, but her team has a losing record (6-7) and is one loss from 9th place in the league (only 8 teams qualify for the playoffs).

Free throw disparity was the big difference in today's game.

Oh, O.K. 1-for-10 from 3-point range and 7-for-20 shooting overall had no factor.

The Cait Cult and their excuses.

ETA: Queen Cait is now 46th in the league in 3-pt% and 45th in the league in overall FG%.

Not to worry, Cait Cult, she's still 100% white.

most families of fans don't go to a WNBA game to WATCH sexual orientation (despite the WNBA's best efforts to convince you otherwise). They want to see exciting basketball and joy, not exciting tats and bitterness and lesbian cattiness.
To be honest, my concern is that eventually (and possibly sooner than later if things don't change) fans will see she's just another player in the league.
When that happens, will she still get the attention she draws now, or will the league go back to being an afterthought?

I’d rather have boom back sucking Jim’s dick every week than TxTiger melting about Clark. This is tiresome. And sad.

Mitchell has been with the Fever for 10 years….she never even made the Playoffs until the Queen got there. They’ll make it again this year.

ETA: Kennard or Curry?

Ok, Angel Smollet.

Its absurd to think someone is going to be in at all times, especially when they are the focal point of the defense in every single game.

Cait Cult excuses are getting lame. I guess the better ones have already been used.

I was impressed too until I realized ol’ dude is serious….he says CC gets the attention just because sHe wYtE….but there have been many, many wYtE girls in the league before CC and they didn’t get this kind of attention, so what’s the difference? Just a hunch, but I think the attention is because she’s a pretty good player. But sHe wYtE dOe

She is 1 for 17 from 3 point range in her last 2 games. Promise I could shoot better and I haven't played competive basketball in years.
