Is the Tiger Slam (00-01) the most dominant thing we’ve seen in sports this century?

Nobody has won a grand slam in a calendar year but only one (Tiger) has won all 4 majors in a row.

Bolt, Phelps, and the run the Patriots went on are in conversation but are they better?

Kim Jung-Il shot 38 under, including 11 holes-in-one, at the 7,700-yard championship course at Pyongyang in the VERY FIRST golf round of his life.

Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic have each flirted with similar achievement

Not to say they’ve achieved something greater than the Tiger Slam but they’re definitely in the convo

Nadal on clay has to be in the conversation as well. I think he won like 95% of his matches on clay in his prime and almost 500 total for his career.

Yep. Real Madrid has won 8 Champions League competitions since 2000. They are in the next tier with the Patriots.

I don’t care when it was. Take a look at how dominant he was compared to other players at the time. It’s insane.

It is a slam… but not a season slam.

Tiger's run back then is unmatched imo. He won the US Open by 15 strokes, shot -19 at the British Open, -18 at the PGA Championship and -16 at the Masters the next year. That level of play will never be seen again.

I know it wasn't the modern slam, but give some credit to Bobby Jones. And it happened within the last century.
